What will you learn?

The PADI Scuba Diver course consists of three main phases:

Diver instructor with students during confined water dive,

Knowledge Development (online, independent study) to understand basic principles of scuba diving. PADI Scuba Water Diver E-learning gives you the background information you need to dive safely and allows you to study at your own pace through an interactive program.
Confined Water Dives (pool sessions) to learn and master basic scuba skills in a confined water environment.
Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore the stunning dive sites of Mauritius. You’ll experience the beauty of vibrant coral reefs, swim alongside tropical fish, and discover underwater landscapes in crystal-clear waters. With a PADI Instructor by your side, you’ll dive in a safe, guided environment, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident as you begin your journey into the underwater world.

What scubagear will you use?

In the PADI Scuba Diver Course, you'll get hands-on experience with essential scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device, and tank. Dodo Divers provides all the equipment you’ll need, and the rental fee is included in the course price.

How long will it take?

After finishing the e-learning, you’ll complete the practical part of the course with Dodo Divers in two mornings.

What Can You Do with Your Certification?

As a PADI Scuba Diver, you’ll be certified to explore the ocean anywhere in the world under the supervision of a PADI Professional. This qualification allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet), giving you access to incredible underwater experiences while building confidence for future diving adventures.
